The producing team of Sandra Cunningham and Robin Cass represent a stamp of commitment to character-driven story telling and strong working relations with the best of talent. Upcoming are adaptations of Ian Hamilton’s new hit crime series featuring high-end international debt collector AVA LEE and AMERICAN REAPER from Pat Mills’ graphic novel as well as the adaptation of Gil Adamson’s international best-selling novel THE OUTLANDER, both with Maven Pictues.

President and co-founder of Strada Films, Sandra Cunningham has over twenty-five years of experience in the international film industry.
She began her career in Montreal in distribution and promotion, which led to a five-year stretch working on independent productions in Rome. Upon her return to Canada, Sandra worked as a programmer for the Toronto International Film Festival for 2 years, and went on to start her own production company in the mid 90s. Strada Films has been successful in bringing critically acclaimed Canadian feature films to the big screen, including John L’Ecuyer’s, Curtis’s Charm, Robert Lepage’s Possible Worlds and a series of high profile international co-productions with Robert Lantos’ Serendipity Point Films, such as Atom Egoyan’s Ararat and Where the Truth Lies, Norman Jewison’s The Statement , Istvan Szabo’s Being Julia and most recently, Jeremy Podeswa’s Fugitive Pieces.

Sandra is an active member of the Canadian production community, sitting on a number of advisory committees and is the current Board Chair of the Canadian Film and Television Production Association. Projects in development include adaptations of the critically acclaimed and award winning novel DeNiro’s Game by Montreal-based Lebanese author Rawi Hage and Gil Adamson’s wildly successful debut novel, The Outlander. On a recent foray into television, Sandra produced seasons one and two of the performing arts series Triple Sensation for CBC.

Brad Fox
A member of the Strada Films team since 2000, Brad Fox adds his experience as producer for film, television and new media to the company. As head of the new media and development brand Rocket Ace Moving Pictures, Brad has produced some of Canada’s most notable Internet-based series, including Dead End Days and Cerealized. Brad has produced, co-produced, production managed and production finance coordinated, many award-winning feature films, television programs, and ephemeral video productions by some of Canada’s most recognizeable directors. He has written and lectured on the evolution of media and media rights for venues as disparate as the University of Regina and the OSS legal website Groklaw.

Since 2007 Brad has also been the co-producer of the Talent Lab, the creative developmental program of the Toronto International Film Festival.
